Description & Project Overview
This assignment concerns the purchase, implementation and maintenance of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), whereby the contractor is responsible for recruiting new employees. The objective is to manage the entire recruitment and selection process within one tool, in a cloud application, where necessary or useful through integration with other internal and external platforms to ensure maximum efficient and automated operation. The City of Bruges, OCMW Brugge and the associations of the OCMW Brugge work within a legislative framework (legal status regulations), which means that there are a number of additional needs compared to a company of a similar size from the private sector. These differences are not so much substantive in nature, but rather legal and procedural. The system must support a legally robust, transparent and objective process that complies with the principles of equality, non-discrimination, obligation to state reasons and openness, with fixed procedures, uniform selection criteria and the necessary reporting options. At the same time, the ATS must offer sufficient flexibility and user-friendliness for both the backend user and the applicant to control lead times, improve candidate and user experience and enable a modern selection process.
