Contract Description
The Rendsburg Wastewater Disposal (ABWRD) operates the Rendsburg sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 240,000 inhabitants. Wastewater treatment in larger municipal sewage treatment plants such as in Rendsburg (size class 5) has so far been carried out in three stages. On average, over 95% of the organic compounds are removed through mechanical, biological and chemical processes. At the sewage treatment plant, high o-PO4-P concentrations occur in the digested sludge due to the biological phosphorus elimination. Especially in the sludge dewatering area that has been converted to high-performance centrifuges
