winfield major rehabilitation is the complete replacement and modernization of the following systems:
dam roller gates: replacement of all five standard roller gates and the specialized flap gate (gate 6).
dam roller gate hoist machinery: rehabilitation or replacement of the 1930s-era mechanical and electrical drive components.
dam electrical service distribution: replacement of the failing primary power feeders and distribution system across the dam.
tainter gate anchorage: full replacement of the post-tensioned anchorage system, which is actively failing due to stress corrosion cracking (scc).
main lock miter gate anchorage: proactive replacement of a failing miter gate anchorage system.
main lock emergency gate machinery: replacement of worn wire ropes and delaminating sheaves

the pdt is currently preparing a questionnaire, the 30% drawings, and any other information which we anticipate will be posted on sam.gov on or about october 13, 2026.
