The needs to be covered are those corresponding to the maintenance services of the existing electrical installations on the UPV campuses. These needs respond to both technical requirements and legal obligations established by current regulations, especially in terms of facility safety and the normal operation and maintenance needs that these facilities require. In general, the installations that must be acted upon are: Low voltage electrical installations. Emergency lighting installations. Reactive energy compensation capacitor banks. Generating sets. Medium voltage installations and transformation centers. Exterior and interior lighting installations. Installations of uninterruptible power supply systems Installations of low voltage and medium voltage lines, paintings and interior luminaires of galleries, both searchable and visitable. Photovoltaic installations, including all their interconnection elements. Lightning protection systems, lightning rods, down conductors, associated grounding and protection devices against permanent and transient overvoltages. Measuring installations, counters, network analyzers, consumption monitoring systems, associated communications and energy control panels. Explain the suitability of the object and its content to satisfy them. The purpose of the contract is to regulate the conditions of provision of the maintenance service, including references to the legal obligations and regulatory framework, as well as the inventory and particular characteristics of these facilities. In the same way, the service contract allows the activation of selection mechanisms that can prioritize the award to those companies that demonstrate the ability to apply the best available techniques and the most current service delivery systems.
