Description & Project Overview
Acquisition of Construction Material (Masonry) This contract aims to meet the demands for the acquisition of construction materials for the Command of the 16th Jungle Infantry Brigade (16th Bda Inf Sl) and for its 6 (six) Directly Subordinated Military Organizations (OMDS), which bring together approximately 1,000 (one thousand) soldiers. In a preliminary analysis, it is important to highlight that the installations of these Military Organizations are, for the most part, old, requiring constant maintenance. This situation implies a high expenditure of public resources to recover the structures, which, if not properly managed, tends to make the process even more onerous for the Administration. Thus, the acquisition of construction material inputs, specifically masonry and hardware, aims to improve the operating conditions of the facilities and avoid the interruption of the activities of the various Military Organizations Directly Subordinated to the 16th Jungle Infantry Brigade, directly contributing to the maintenance of the operability of this Large Unit. Due to the specific needs of these Military Organizations, such acquisitions will adequately meet their routine activities and any bodies that have similar demands. In the Demand Formalization Document, the technical specifications of the necessary materials were gathered, which result from the experience acquired through studies and consultations on existing materials throughout the 16th Jungle Infantry Brigade, which operates in one of the most inhospitable regions of the country, characterized, in several locations, by the lack of regular supply of electricity and basic sanitation. Furthermore, the Médio Solimões region, where the 16th Jungle Infantry Brigade is headquartered, has severe limitations in road infrastructure, being poor in highways and roads, which makes the supply of construction materials significantly difficult and restricts access.
