The “ABS Lübeck – Schwerin” project (electrification and new construction of the Bad Kleinen connecting curve) was promoted to the priority requirement of the current requirements plan of the Federal Railway Expansion Act (BSWAG) with a positive assessment by the federal government (NKV = 1.03) in the 3rd quarter of 2018. The route is located in the overall TEN network and is part of the VB-Plus network of the 2030 network concept.
