The subject of the public procurement contract is the selection of a contractor for the further development of an existing web-based information system for tracking the development of students and PhD students at the Medical University – Varna. Within the scope of the public procurement contract, changes shall be implemented in the visualization, content, and structure of the following forms for completion in the system - Individual Study Plan; PhD Student Report; Attestation Card. A functionality shall be developed and added, providing users with specific rights and roles the ability to add and edit data related to already completed competitions, in order to ensure full administrative control over existing records in the competition procedures. The web-based information system for tracking the development of students and PhD students at the Medical University – Varna includes three main modules - a module for information, administration and training of PhD students, a module for tracking the career development of students in the first year after graduation, and a module common information system (network) between the career centers of the Medical University - Varna and Varna Free University Chernorizets Hrabar. With the introduction of the information system, a dynamic correspondence between the demand and supply of specialists with higher education was achieved, through the introduction of a competence model, multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity in the training of students, including through the wide application of digital transformation of education. Through the system, the management, control and administration of the process and the information servicing of the users associated with it were improved. Thus, a constant increase in the quality and satisfaction of all representatives of the target groups from the offered services was ensured. The information system is installed in a Windows environment on the contracting authoritys server. All copyright and related rights to the existing web-based information system, subject to protection under the Copyright and Related Rights Act, are the property of the contracting authority.
