IDA Credit No./Portion A: 6990-NE IDA Credit No./Portion B: 6991-NE Reference number: NE-PISEN-559922-CS-INDV NE-PISEN-559898-CS-INDV The Government of the Republic of Niger has obtained funding from the International Development Association (IDA) to finance the cost of the Integrated Platform for Water Security in Niger (PISEN) Project. It is expected that part of the amount of this financing will be used to make payments under the contract relating to the recruitment of two Rural Development Specialists for the Regional Coordination Units of Agadez and Tahoua . The services of rural development specialist (“the Services”) consist of: Bring coherence between hydraulic infrastructure activities with a productive and development rural with the legislative, regulatory, organizational and strategic texts in force in Niger; Ensure alignment of water resources mobilization and productive use activities with the framework criteria, reference documents and project objectives Contribute to the organization of the citizen engagement process relating to water control, the implementation of the Small Irrigation Strategy in Niger (SPIN), the sustainable management of natural resources, livestock breeding and pastoral works, in coordination with environmental and social specialists; Participate in the development and execution of Annual Work Plans and Budgets (PTBA); Check the conformity of action plans and professional activities
