Target country: United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar Field of application: Energy efficiency Possible date: Q2 + Q3 2027 Objective: The aim of the measure is to place German SMEs in the areas of automated building technology (including sensors or energy management systems), sector coupling, district cooling or IoT platforms for house or neighborhood management primarily in the Emirati building sector. At the outset, the German business solutions and best practices are to be placed in front of a high-caliber target audience of institutional, political and business decision-makers. The neighboring markets around Qatar and Oman should be sensibly included in the travel agenda, while the UAE should be the main target of the measure. The central focus of GR is also the initiation of tangible sales opportunities. One focus is on presenting the performance of German technologies and establishing business contacts with potential partners and customers through individual contact discussions. The travel agenda, including the concept of the event format, must be aligned with this objective. The overarching aim of the measure is to create a framework for sustainable business relationships and to strengthen the visibility of relevant technologies and solutions from Germany. Note: The GR is advertised in combination with a WEB. Participation in the WEB is independent of registration for the GR. The aim is to inform German companies about the target market and the main topic and at the same time to increase the interest of German companies in participating in the upcoming GR. A regional ZMA (Special Version) will be created covering the UAE, Qatar and Oman. Three individual potential analyzes need to be created for the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar. The bilateral energy partnerships and dialogues must be integrated into the preparation and implementation of the measure. The specifications described in the guidelines must be applied when implementing the project.
