Invitation to Bid (ITB):Supply and delivery of vaccines for cho clients
Interested bidders are reminded of the following special conditions and regulatory requirements for the delivery of vaccines: 1. all vaccines must be stored and transported under proper conditions and protected from direct sunlight a. biological products (vaccines): +2°c to +8°c (inside the cold chain/storage temperature) during transport and upon delivery. 2. temperature must be monitored and verified upon delivery to ensure compliance. 3. delivery vehicle must have appropriate temperature control system (e.g. calibrated thermometers, cold chain containers, air conditioned or temperature-controlled). 4. the use of ordinary/general-purpose styrofoam boxes as the primary vaccine transport container is shall not be allowed. 5. the use of ice or ice-filled water packs for vaccine transpo shall not be allowed. the supplier shall use appropriate cold packs/refrigerant packs (cold dog packs) or equivalent cold-chain materials designed for vaccine transportation. 6. delivery shall only be accepted when the vaccines are maintained within the required +2°c to +8°c temperature range regulatory requirements: a.valid fda license to operate (lto) b.certificate of product registration c. batch or lot release certificate to be submitted at the time of delivery d. marketing authority or certificate of authority to sell (esp. for vaccines/injectables) note: copy of all required regulatory documents shall be submitted to the cho or the receiving office at the time of delivery. failure to submit the complete required documents before or during delivery shall be a ground for non-acceptance of the delivered items. the product lot/batch number and expiry date must also be clearly indicated in the delivery receipt and must correspond with the actual delivered products and packaging.
