OBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT We are asking for offers for the set of automated immunostaining machines. The devices are purchased on a reimbursement basis so that the price of the immunohistochemically stained glass includes the use of two (2) devices according to the Customers needs during the contract period. The equipment is the property of the supplier. An estimated 20,000-30,000 pieces of tinted glasses are produced per year. The equipment to be acquired must be new and unused when coming to the HUS diagnostic center. The goal is to use the competition to get safe and functional devices in the selections. The goal is also that the delivery reliability of the products is good and that the products are available when they are needed. The acquisition replaces two current semi-automated immunostaining equipment. The aim of renewing the equipment base is to reduce manual work steps, reduce the risk of errors, and increase the throughput time and capacity of dyeing. The scope of procurement also includes additional products related to the offered products, which are indicated in Appendix 1. During the contract period, in accordance with the estimated value of the procurement, products belonging to the product groups that are the subject of the contract, which are not specified in the product appendix, can also be purchased during the contract period (see draft contract). The value of the (option) RTU antibodies to be ordered during the contract period and any additional products outside the Product Annex are taken into account in the total value of the purchase without VAT. If the Subscriber adds RTU antibodies to the contract or orders products outside of the Product Appendix, the combined share of such orders may not exceed 10 percent of the original value of the contract. PRICING MODELS The tenderer must provide an offer for both pricing models A and B described below. The procurement unit will choose the most economically advantageous pricing model in accordance with the comparison basis described in the request for tender. Pricing model A The price of an immunohistochemically stained glass (€/glass) includes: - all reagents required for immunohistochemical staining (e.g. detection kits, buffers) - all device-related consumables (e.g. labels, wearing plastic parts, glass stands, reagent bottles, buffer canisters) - two (2) automated immunostaining devices - peripheral devices - paraffin removal and pretreatment equipment - licenses and software updates - user training and technical support - spare parts, maintenance and troubleshooting (full maintenance of the equipment during the contract period) Pricing model B The price of immunohistochemically stained glass (€/glass) includes: - all reagents required for immunohistochemical staining (e.g. detection kits, buffers) - all device-related consumables (e.g. stickers, consumable plastic parts, glass racks, reagent bottles, buffer canisters) - two (2) automated immunostaining devices - peripherals - deparaffinization and pretreatment equipment - licenses and software updates - user training and technical support - spare parts, maintenance and troubleshooting (full maintenance of the equipment during the contract period) - 11 RTU antibodies listed in Appendix 1, tab 5 Pricing Model_B (included in the glass price and not separate price line in comparison) Pricing models A and B include the same equipment, reagents, consumables and all other services and maintenance costs. The difference only applies to the pricing methods of the 11 RTU antibodies: Pricing model A: 11 RTU antibodies are priced separately based on the price information in the Pricing model_A tab of Appendix 1 and are added to the reference price. Pricing model B: 11 RTU antibodies are included directly in the €/glass price and are not given a separate price for comparison. MANDATORY OPTION The bidder must offer as a mandatory option in Appendix 1. Bid form, on the RTU option products tab, all RTU antibodies in their selection (excluding the 11 RTU antibodies included in the price comparison). These RTU antibodies are not included in the price comparison, but during the contract period, the Procurement Unit can, according to the Customers needs, add these to the contract in accordance with the prices announced by the bidder. SELECTION OF THE CONTRACT SUPPLIER The procurement unit selects one (1) supplier as its contract partner, from whom the purchase will be made. The acquisition has not been divided into parts, because the acquisition forms an appropriate whole. CONTRACT PERIOD The contract period is five (5) years. It can be extended with an option period of 1 + 1 year. PROCUREMENT DETAILS This is a separate procurement by HUS Diagnostic Center. The equipment comes to the pathology unit of the HUS Diagnostic Center in Meilahti, the immunohistochemistry laboratory. See more detailed information in appendix 3 of the request for tenders. Draft contract. The combined anticipated total value of the acquisition (VAT 0%) is approximately 2,400,000 euros, taking into account the entire contract period, including possible option periods. It is an estimate, and the procurement entity does not commit to the announced euro amounts and those announced in the request for tender,to realized consumption amounts. Final order quantities may be higher or lower than stated. The object of the procurement and the related requirements are described in detail in the request for tenders and its appendices.
