Ib no. 2026-021 bac ii supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of various ultrasound machines 1. the baguio general hospital and medical center (bghmc), through the hospital income intends to apply the sum of twenty-two million pesos (php 22,000,000.00) being the abc to payments under the contract for supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of various ultrasound machines (ib no. 2026-021 bac ii). bids received in excess of the abc shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. the baguio general hospital and medical center (bghmc) now invites bids for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of various ultrasound machines (ib no. 2026-021 bac ii). the criterion for evaluation to determine the award of contract shall be lowest calculated responsive bid (lcrb) as provided for in section 58.2.a of ra 12009 and it’s irr and instruction to bidders 26.3.a of bidding document (may 2025-first edition). delivery of the goods is required sixty (60) calendar days upon receipt of notice to proceed. bidders should have completed, at least within three (3) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, contracts similar to the project. the description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly, in section ii. instructions to bidders. 3. bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a nondiscretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the irr of ra no. 12009. i) bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to filipino citizens, pursuant to ra no. 5183. 4. interested bidders may obtain further information from the baguio general hospital and medical center bac ii / procurement management office (pmo) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 5. a complete set of bidding documents may be acquired by interested bidders on september 28, 2026 to october 19, 2026, until 8:30 a.m., from the given address below upon payment of the applicable fee for the bidding documents, pursuant to the latest guidelines issued by the gppb, in the amount of project description amount of bid documents procurement of two (2) units advanced ultrasound system with color doppler and elastography applications php25,000.00 procurement of four (4) compact portable mid-range ultrasound system with color doppler and elastography applications php10,000.00 it may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the philippine government electronic procurement system (philgeps) and the website of the procuring entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the bidding documents not later than the submission of their bids. 6. the baguio general hospital and medical center will hold a pre-bid conference on october 6, 2026, 9:00 a.m. at the bac office, 4/f psychiatry complex, bghmc, baguio city and/or through video conferencing via webex, which shall be open to prospective bidders. pre-bid conference meeting link https://baguioghmc.webex.com/baguioghmc/j.php?mtid=m23bed0be3b87ec2f3
