Contract Description
HGU_VITA_Fachplanung Tragwerksplanung/Bauphysik HGU_VITA_Fachplanung Tragwerksplanung/Bauphysik
Geisenheim University is planning to expand the Geisenheim campus to include a research building for crop development. In parallel with four other ongoing new buildings - the beverage technology center, the lecture hall building, the logistics building and the food safety internship - whose designs emerged from an architectural competition in 2017, the new research building is intended to strengthen the scientific location of the Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences. In addition to the teaching facilities, the new building is planned as a pure research and development building. The requirement includes office and laboratory space for around 25 scientists and a corresponding training area. Some of the laboratories are assigned to protection level 1 according to GENTSV. Prototypical greenhouse units with a comprehensive analysis environment under controlled and simulated growth conditions form the heart of the project. In terms of scientific topics and technological requirements for implementation, this is a highly innovative project. The new building is planned as a compact 2 1/2-story building volume immediately west of the Central Laboratory and Institute Building (ZIG) and between the Rheingau Railway route in the south and the future central campus square in the north. The construction site covers an area of around 24x44m. The construction is intended as a wood-concrete hybrid construction. According to the task, sustainability is an essential aspect of all decisions in the planning and construction of the project. The approved ES construction and the planning results of LPH 2, which were developed for the object planning of buildings and open spaces (without preliminary planning of structural planning), represent the binding planning basis. These will be made available to bidders upon invitation to submit an offer. The project has a gross floor area of around 3,200 m2 with a budget of around €19.27 million for KG 300 + 400. The new building must be completed by the first quarter of 2025. The following planning services are advertised: - Structural planning according to § 51 HOAI, i. V. with appendix 14, service phases 2-6 (PE 1-building), fee zone IV and service phases 2-4 (PE 2- shoring), fee zone III as well as special services - thermal building physics according to HOAI appendix 1, service phases 1-7 as well as special services - building/room acoustics/sound insulation according to HOAI appendix 1, service phases 1-7 as well as special services - vibration protection. The commission is carried out in stages.
